Install the Altanik browser extension
Add the extension to Chrome, Edge or Firefox to save products from any shop in one click.
Install it
The Altanik extension is available for Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. In Altanik, the “Add from URL” dialog shows an install button for each store where the extension is listed, with your browser’s store first.
- Open the extension’s page in your browser’s add-on store and choose “Add to browser”.
- Pin the Altanik icon to your toolbar so it is one click away.
- Open any product page, click the Altanik icon and sign in with your Altanik email and password the first time.
What runs on your device
The extension reads the product page you are on and extracts the title, price, currency and images inside your browser. The page you browse is not sent to Altanik or to an AI service.
Only the product you choose to save is sent to your Altanik account, which is stored on our servers so you can use it on any device and share it with clients.
Browser differences
On Chrome and Edge, the extension uses a small AI model on your device for harder pages when your computer supports it (WebGPU). If it does not, the extension tells you and keeps the result from structured data and pattern matching.
On Firefox, AI extraction is not available; structured data and pattern matching still work.
On Chrome and Edge, Altanik can also ask the extension to read a link you paste (“Add from URL”) and can tell that the extension is installed. Firefox and Safari do not allow this, so “Add from URL” adds a link card instead.
