Refund Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Draft — pending legal review

This document is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Text in [SQUARE BRACKETS] is a placeholder that will be completed before Altanik accepts paid customers.

We want you to be sure Altanik is right for your studio. All payments are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle, which also issues refunds.

1. 14-day refund on your first payment

If you are not happy with Altanik, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment for a paid plan and you will get it back in full — no questions asked. This applies to the first payment of a monthly or annual subscription on your account.

2. How to request a refund

Use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or write to us at [CONTACT EMAIL] with the email address you used at checkout and your order number. Refunds go back to your original payment method; how quickly they appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

3. Renewals and cancellations

After the first 14 days, payments — including renewals — are not refundable, except where the law requires it or our Terms or Data Processing Agreement provide for a pro-rata refund. You can cancel at any time in the customer portal to stop future renewals; you keep access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for.

4. What happens to your data

After a refund or cancellation your workspace moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: content above the free plan’s limits becomes read-only, and you can export everything at any time.

5. Your statutory rights

This policy does not affect any rights you have under mandatory law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal where you qualify as a consumer, or as a sole trader protected as a consumer under Polish law.

6. Before you dispute a charge

Please contact us or Paddle first — we can almost always resolve billing questions faster than a card dispute.
